Meet Hallie
Hi, I’m Hallie Miller, LCSW.
As we know, life can be unpredictable, uncertain, and bring about many hardships. It is my goal to create an empathetic and compassionate environment to assist others in identifying the tools they need to heal and accomplish the goals they set for themselves. I work with a variety of populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. I help my clients with a range of different concerns and utilize a variety of evidence-based practices.
Throughout my journey as a therapist, I developed passions for certain specialties and have acquired additional education and training to enhance my skill set. My current specialty areas are children, more specifically play therapy, tweens and teens, maternal mental health, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. However, my practice is not limited to those areas of concern and welcome all other inquires.
I look forward to meeting you and learning how I may help you on your journey.
Get To Know Me a Little Better...
I am from a very small town in Northern California and completed my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Graduate school brought me down to Southern California where I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University Fullerton. Post graduate school I have worked both in a hospital and behavioral health outpatient setting. Majority of my experience has been providing psychotherapy services to a wide range of populations through individual and group therapy. Beyond my work with clients, I am a wife and a mother of two, well three, if you include my golden retriever Brady. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and being active. I particularly enjoy going for runs. I admit I have a sweet tooth and thoroughly love to bake and try new recipes. Above all, I love connection with people and learning their stories.
